Class one- RE and Minibeasts

In class one, we have been starting to think about Christmas.
In RE, we have read the story of Jesus' Birth. The children enjoyed listening to the story and could remember many elements from being told it before. This week, we began to look at signs of the story such as in christmas cards or decorations. We looked at pictures of the fronts of cards and identified how they link to the story.
In Music, we have been rehearsing songs of the play. The children are getting really excited now!
The Reception have been busy in their areas. We have been learning about minibeasts so went on a minibeast hunt around the school grounds, we found lots of worms. Back inside, some of the children hid minibeasts around the classroom and created a hunt of their own.
I am sorry for the lack of pictures and updates on Tapestry, our Ipads are with the IT team being sorted at the moment.
