Good morning Class 1!

Its the end of a very busy week - from the work that has been sent to me I can see you have been working really hard, well done! yes

At the end of todays activities I have added a virtual 'proud wall' to showcase some of your super work. I hope you enjoy looking back at what you have donesmiley

Remember - we will have our usual catch up at 9.30am and today I am going to share a story to finish the week.

Phonics

Have you been practising your reading? Maybe you could record a story for me that you have read!

If you would like some different books to read please see the Home Learning page where you will find a link to Oxford Owl. On this website there are loads of free ebooks. You can select the age or colour band of the book you would like to read.
Reading Eggs helps to support phonic development through games and activities and is currently offering a free 30 day trial.

enlightened Dont forget to keep practising all of our phonemes, you can use the BBC bitesize website to revisit the phonemes or phonicsplay and get free access using the username: Jan21/ password: home for games to test your knowledge. enlightened

Literacy

Today I would like you to review a book, this means to tell me what you thought about the book. You could tell me what you thought about the book I read this morning or you could choose a book that you have at home. I would like you to tell me the title of the book and draw or write about your favourite part. I have put an example book review template below for you to use if you would like.
