Class 1's visit to Ripon Library

27 Jan 2023

Just a reminder to please provide payment/ give consent on ParentPay for the Ripon Library Visit next Tuesday. Unfortunately without signed consent your child will have to stay at school.

Thank you

Dear Parents,
On Tuesday the 28th of February, we would like to take Class 1 to Ripon Library. We hope that this visit will promote children’s reading for pleasure and is also an opportunity to learn about library services. Children will be able to borrow a book or two from the library as part of this visit, if they are a member of the library. Please see attached letter which has details on how to sign up prior to our visit:

We will be travelling on an Atkinson coach, leaving school at 10am, and returning to school for lunchtime, therefore, children will have lunch as normal. However, please can you send your child in to school with a small backpack which they can use to carry their water bottle and a snack.
The visit to the library is free through their services, however, we will need to cover the cost of the coach. Friends have kindly offered to subsidise this visit, therefore, we ask that you please pay £3 via ParentPay to support us to provide children with this enriching opportunity.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Many thanks,
Miss Thewsey.
