Wednesday 13th January

11 Jan 2021

Good morning Class 1!

enlightened Don't forget, we will be having our usual catch up at 9.30am. Today we are going to be going on a treasure hunt!  enlightened
Thank you to those of you who have sent me your super work, your clues to toys were great!
It is great to see what you are doing and remember, I would like to see at least one piece of work each day.

Here are your activities for today:
Phonics
Please work through the PowerPoint for our phonic session today.

Lets dance smiley

How about a dough disco? Get your Play dough and dance your fingers along to the music! After you have warmed up your fingers, see if you can use your play dough to practise letter formation. See if you can make a word - maybe you could make your name then you can use your imagination to create some play dough models!

Literacy

Today we are going to share a story 'This is the Bear'.
As you are following the text, see if you can join in with some of the words. Can you spot any of our tricky words?
After the story, think about how it would feel if you lost a special toy. Have you ever lost anything? What happened? How did you feel? Did you find it again?

Maths

Please see below todays video for maths. Today we are continuing to look at the number 5.
Session 5

Can you make your own number line for the numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5? Write the number, show me the numeral as spots and then as a group of objects
There is a number formation sheet on TEAMs in our files if you would like to practise your numbers some more.

e.g.

Expressive Arts and Design

Today I have set an activity on Purple mash – You DO NOT need to complete all of the picture tasks, please just choose one and select the paint tools you would like to use to decorate your toy.

I hope you have a great day, and I look forward to seeing you on our TEAMs call at 9.30am smiley
