Spring 2 - All things Spring!

25 Mar 2022

Hello Class 1!

I hope you have had a good week finding out and exploring the changes that are happening around us in the season of Spring. I look forward to seeing all of the super work you have been doing next week in school smiley

Over the weekend, see if you can think of things beginning with each of the letters in the word SPRING to make your own poem. You could use pictures instead of words if you would like.

Here is my poem as an example:

Sunshine
Pretty flowers
Rainbows
Insects
Nests in the trees
Growing plants

This week has also been our school 'Stand with Ukraine' day where we changed our school uniform to blue and yellow for the day. The school Charity Committee organised the day to raise money to go to help the people in the Ukraine. We enjoyed the yummy cake stall at morning break time and did really well keeping quiet for our sponsored silence!

Have a lovely weekend enjoying the spring weather, see you on Monday!
