Good Morning everyone! Welcome to Thurday's
Collective Worship,With Mrs Hebblewhite.

Our theme this week is
Thankfulness Stock Photos - Download 2,667 Royalty Free Photos
Which means knowing how lucky we are
to have or to be given something,
and being grateful.

Let's start by sharing this song about being thankful.
Watch out...it might get stuck in your head!!

We have been reflecting this week
on things we are thankful for.
Watch this story,
called 'I'm Thankful'.

Think about the things that you are thankful for.

Thankfulness is something that we should all try to learn. It helps us to feel happy, so it is a good idea, every now and then to remind ourselves of how lucky we are and to feel thankful for what we have.

Different people are thankful for different things.

I asked Ethan, (my son) to make up his own poem about things he is grateful for. He chose to make up a rap, which you can find below. Perhaps you could make up your own, about the things you are grateful for, and send it to me,
to share on our website at (Class1@gfschools.co.uk).

Thankful, by Ethan Hebblewhite

A B C D E F G, This is what 'thankful means to me'!
I'm thankful for the NHS,
and everyone who's done their best.
I'm thankful for every day of the year,
Every autumn, every season,
Every plant, every tree,
Every bug, every sea...I'm thankful for my TV!
I'm thankful for Pokemon XYZ,
This world and its creator, it must be said!
YEAH!

I am looking forward to receiving and posting your Thankfulness poems, raps and rhyming stories,
at (Class1@gfschools.co.uk).

Let's finish with a prayer
We are all thankful for different things, so as you read it,
fill in the missing gaps with your own thoughts.

I hope you have enjoyed today's Collective Worship.

Have a great day everyone!
Missing you!
