World Book Week

We have had another lovely week in Class One, our highlight definitely being our World Book Day events on Friday. We had a well and truly fun-packed day, starting with our 'Best Dressed' competition. We were so impressed at the effort you had all gone to, to make today special for the children - they all looked amazing! Judging the competition was not an easy task! In Class One, it was Jack who won the prize, as Mr McGregor - I wish I could have given them all a prize......Later in the day, Mr Miles Salter, an author entertained us with his poems, songs and stories and provided lots of fun activities for all the children to be involved in. We all felt inspired to be writers following the session and we have made a class book, which you are welcome to come in and see!
