Week 13 - Autumn term

08 Dec 2021

This week in Class 1...

We have been thinking about Christmas and talking about how we celebrate this time of year. We made some tree decorations by making salt dough and then using paint and glitter to make them sparkle!

We talked about how we celebrate Christmas and found out how Christmas is celebrated by Christians around the world.

We had a visitor on Wednesday to launch our world faith for this year which is Islam. We listened to him talk about his faith and share stories. We found out that prayer is very important and we coloured in our own prayer mats.

On Friday it was Christmas jumper day and we all enjoyed getting into the Christmas fun! We also had a practise of our Christmas Nativity story on the stage too.

Only 1 week to go until the Christmas holidays! We have a busy week to finish the term too,

Tuesday - Christmas Nativity 3pm
Wednesday - Christmas lunch
Thursday- Christmas party
Friday - break up for Christmas at 3pm

Have a lovely weekend smiley
