Week 14 - Autumn term
16 Dec 2021
The last week of term!
We have made it to Christmas! It has been a very busy week in school and we are definitely ready for Christmas. We all worked really hard learning the songs for our Nativity play and really enjoyed being part of it, we hope you enjoyed it too.
On Wednesday we had a lovely Christmas lunch. We made our own placemats and pulled crackers with our friends, it was yummy! Some of us made party hats for the special occasion too.
We did some Christmas phonics too where we had to hunt around the room for the pictures, read the word using our decoding skills and then choose the correct picture.
On Thursday we joined with Class 2 for our party day! We played games - musical bumps and statues, corners and pass the parcel. We had a party snack and in the afternoon had a Christmas movie treat.
While we were out at play, a mystery visitor had left some presents under the tree. There were 3 presents for Class 1 to play with in school. It was very exciting.
I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and I look forward to hearing all about it next year!
See you on Wednesday 5th January 2022
