Milk for children when they reach age 5

What is the Nursery Milk Scheme?
The Nursery Milk Scheme is operated by the Nursery Milk Reimbursement Unit (NMRU) on behalf of the Department of Health. It entitles children under 5 years who attend approved day care facilities to receive 189ml (1/3 pint) of milk each day, free of charge.
We access this scheme through a company called Cool Milk. Cool Milk is the UK's leading school milk supplier, working in partnership with early years groups, schools and local authorities. They help to supply free and subsidised school milk to children in a variety of settings.
FREE MILK STOPS FOR A CHILD, THE FRIDAY BEFORE THEY TURN 5.
Once your child turns 5 if you would like them to still receive a carton of milk, you need to register and pay directly with Cool Milk who will then send us a weekly milk list. The subsidised price of milk for a child over 5 is approximately £14 per term. Register online: https://customers.coolmilk.com/v2/register/
Children in Class 1 have their milk in the classroom during the morning session. Children from Class 2 onwards will receive their milk whilst having their school lunch.
