RE and Maths

This week we have been feeling very Christmassy!
On Wednesday, we had fun at the school Christmas Fair. Thank you to Class 3 for their super games!
We have also been busy practising our Christmas play which you will be able to watch on Wednesday 20th December. We have worked really hard to learn our lines and have been working on our acting skills.
In RE this half term we are thinking about the big question 'Why do people pray?' We started by thinking about why we talk and had lots of ideas - communicate, give information, ask questions, tell jokes, make friends. Then we listened to Christian children give reasons they pray and when they pray. We found out some of the reasons Christians pray and used our own knowledge of what we have seen to record how people pray and some of the signs and actions they use.
In Maths this week we have moved on to the topic of multiplication and division. We used pictures to help answer questions by drawing arrays.
