Class 3 - The start of Christmas in Class 3

10 Dec 2020

Today was Christmas Jumper Day, look at us all in our festive clothes!

This week we also had Christmas Dinner and although we had to have it in our classroom rather than the hall, we still pulled crackers and listened to Christmas music.

We have spent some time this week creating artwork based around the nativity story.

We have also been thinking about how COVID has impacted the lives of lots of people. We have joined the Hearts4homes campaign and decorated these hearts to send residents of a Care Home in Ripon, to let them know we are thinking about them.

As well as all things festive we finished off our termly assessments , trying our best. In French we have been learning the numbers to 20 and can greet each other in French.

In English we were very excited to use the book ‘The Wild Way Home’ in our writing. We have read most of the book, but we stopped a few chapters before the end and had to write our own possible ending. Next week Miss Rogers and Mrs Lewis will read us the actual ending from the book, did any of our ideas match the authors?
