Class Three- First Week Back

We have hit the ground running this week in Class Three.
In maths Year 3 have been using column addition and subtraction with 2 and 3 digit numbers.
Year 4 spent time problem solving before they began a new unit looking at measuring area.
In PE with are working on dance this half term and began this work by learning 2 dances. These were Wake Up Shake Up dances. We enjoyed practising the steps and once we had done the dances we thought about which we preferred and why.
In computing we began our work on word processing. The children showed me what they could already do and then we moved on to exploring how we take screenshots on the computer.
A very busy week, finishing with Forest School on Friday afternoon . We are starting our new theme next week with Mrs Field.
