Class 3- Theme Work

Welcome back after half term. Although it has been a shorter week this week, we have still been very busy in Class Three.
This week we have been finishing off our learning of the Stone Age to the Iron Age and answering our big question 'How did life change in Britain from the Stone Age to the Iron Age?'
In order to demonstrate all the things that they have learnt during this topic answer this question the children created a double page spread.
I am sure you agree there are some fantastic examples, demonstrating how much the children have learnt during this topic as well as being beautiful presented pieces of work. Some children had so much knowledge to share their double page spread became a 3 or 4 page spread.
Then they used all this knowledge to write an answer to the question.

As well as our work in theme we have started looking at narratives in English and this week we have looked at character description and speech.
Don't forget we are swimming for the next 5 weeks, so the children will need their swimming kit every Friday.
