Class Three- Final week- Theme
24 May 2023
What glorious weather for our last week of half term. Thank you to all of those who were able to make it to our open classroom on Thursday. We hope you enjoyed looking in your children's books and that they were able to share lots that they had learnt with you.
This week was our final week looking at the Ancient Egyptians. The children each produced a double page spread to show what they had learnt about the Ancient Egyptians. There were some fantastic pieces of work and notably a big difference from the first double page spread some of them did at the start of the year.
During our topic we have looked at
- When the Ancient Egyptians happened
- Where Egypt is
- Where they settled and why
- What life was like
- The pryamids
- Their gods
- Tutankhamun
- Mummification
- Hieroglyphics
- When did the Ancient Egyptians end and what came next.
Have a lovely half term break and we look forward to seeing you the week after next for our last half term of the academic year. It is a very busy half term so keep an eye on updates from the office or on the school website for upcoming events.
Next half term Class 3 will be swimming again on a Friday afternoon. Here is our timetable for the last half term.
