Geography - The water cycle
03 Feb 2023
This week we concluded our work on the water cycle. We did a lot of discussion around how water can change from a liquid to water vapour when it gets wet and linked this knowledge we obtained from our experiment into what happens on a much larger scale in the water cycle. We also noted from our mini water cycle experiment, that the water vapour can change back into a liquid when it cools and condenses and then when it too heavy gravity will pull the liquid back to Earth.

We discussed as a class if we thought water ever would run out - we reacted to some water based statements on an imaginary line between true and false. We also debated our ideas verbally as a class and as groups on paper.
We showed off our learning in our final piece of work for this topic – answering the question: Will water ever disappear completely?
Well done class three there are some super answers to this question – I hope you agree:
Next week we will be focusing on art skills for the last week of the half term
Have a good weekend
