Class 3 - World Religion and Geography Research
26 Jan 2023
We have had a great week this week. On Tuesday we had a full day away from our usual lessons to immerse ourselves in a whole school Judaism Day. We learnt about their beliefs, ceremonies, festivals and how Jews worship. It was a fantastic opportunity to be taught by all the different teachers and learn with children from all year groups. We very much look forward to taking this learning forward and building upon it when we visit the Synagogue next month.
There are lots of pictures of our
Judaism Day on the School news page!
Our new year topic has been Geography and we have really enjoyed learning about mountains and rivers during the last few weeks. Here are some pictures of our hard work researching what kind of activities people do in the mountains.
We also worked in groups to annotate the route of a river from its source in the mountains to its mouth at the coast.
Next week is our last week of geography for this term and we look forward to showing all we have learn ’t as we move onto our final chapter of learning - the water cycle next week.
Have a great weekend
