Lets learn Moor.
08 Jul 2022
On Tuesday, Key Stage Two enjoyed a trip that couldn't have been much closer to home!
The aim of the day was to educate our primary school children, about the countryside on their doorsteps, and hope that they gain an increased understanding of wildlife and human life on the moors. The organisers said "We want them to experience the awe and wonder of their local moorland and encourage them to want to access it." The day was a really great success and we were the first to arrive and last to leave so really made the most of our day! It is fantatstic to take the children out on to experience learning in many forms and their behaviour was fantastic and we all learnt a lot!
The children took part in several activities: Please scroll through the page to see photographs of the different activities.
