Busy Bees!
19 Mar 2021
What a busy week we have had in Class 3! We are continuing to impress all the adults who work with us with our effort and attitude to learning. Everyone is working really hard and have settled back into the school routine quickly.
Today has been Red Nose Day in School. We came to school in non-uniform and learnt where the money we raised would be going and who it would help. During the morning we did different Red Nose Day activities and hosted The Great Class Three Joke Off! We spent a long time laughing at some funny jokes. We took a vote on whose joke was the funniest and Max was our winner!

During this week we have been completing assessments in school so our teachers can see where we are. We have handled these really well and tried hard. We have a couple more to do next week as well as our Star Assessment to see if our ZPD reading range needs to change!
With Mrs Donaldson on Monday and Tuesday afternoon we did Science and PE. In PE lots of us got to show off our balance and flexibility, some of us are very bendy! We did different rolls, balances and some had a go at handstands and cartwheels. In science we have continued looking at states of matter and this we looked at water. Investigating the different states we can find water in, the water cycle and carrying out some investigations of our own.
Miss Rogers called us on Wednesday to say hello and to check we were all doing ok. Mrs Lewis and Mrs Donaldson have been telling her how well we have been doing and she has seen lots of the work we have done. Mrs Lewis is particularly impressed with the writing we have been doing about Little Red Riding hood. There are a few examples of our brilliant work below!
This week one of our Bees has left our hive as it was Lily’s last week in our class. We will really miss her, but we know she will settle in really quickly to her new school and we wish her all the best.
