Amazing Acts in Class Three

What another super busy week at Fountains!
On Tuesday, the children in Cass Three were lucky enough to enjoy a workshop delivered by Bethnel Church in Ripon. They brought a wonderful wealth of knowledge and resources to help bring the Bible stories from The Acts to life. We all learnt a lot about the time after Jesus's death and how the Apostles spread the teachings of Jesus and the journeys they took to spread the word of Jesus.
To bring the different parts to life, the children were able to 'meet' key people from the Bible and hear their stories in first person. This was really engaging and helped our understanding of some quite miraculous and difficult events.
The children also brought the stories to life by acting out different parts in small groups and helping our visitors to show the events.
To finish off our workshop the children went on a scavanger hunt to answer questions in the quiz. They all did really well!
As ever I was incredibly proud of all the children during the workshop, they listened well, answered questions thoughtfully and enthusiastically took part in all the activities. The visitors commented what a fantastic group they were!
