Class 4 - First week back

09 Jun 2023

Wow, what a week it has been in Class 4! We've been buzzing with excitement as we dive into preparations for our summer production. On Monday the classroom was transformed into a mini theatre, with the stage set up right in the middle. It has been amazing to see the creativity and teamwork of all Class 4 coming together to bring The Wizard of Oz to life. To fully immerse ourselves in the magical world of our production, each child has also written a captivating diary entry about the main character's journey to Oz this week.

On Tuesday, we joined Class 3 to welcome some very special visitors – The Fire Service. The firefighters talked about how to keep ourselves safe and what to do in the event of a fire. The children were engaged and eager to learn, and it was a fantastic opportunity for them to understand the importance of fire safety.

Thursday was a Pupil Voice morning, where everyone had a chance to share their thoughts and ideas about our school. It was wonderful to see Class 4 getting involved. Their voices truly matter, and we appreciate their input in making our school an even better place to learn and grow.

In addition to all the excitement, we also kicked off our new topic in Science. The big question we're exploring is: "Why do living things reproduce differently?" It's a fascinating topic that I am sure the children will thoroughly enjoy.

Well done this week Class 4!

Have a lovely weekend.

Mrs Glover 😊
