Tudor Day - 28th September

20 Sep 2021

On  Tuesday 28th September, Class 4 will be having an off timetable day so that we can spend the whole day learning about the Tudor monarchy which will support our History Curriculum for this term.  We are focusing specifically on the impact that the Tudor monarchy had on religion and society during that period. We will also be looking at Henry VIII and how everything kept changing as his children were in power.

The children will be having a very hands on day and will be able to handle and see as many artefacts as possible, teaching them about the general Tudor period.

To minimise costs and to maximise learning time, rather than taking the children on a bus to a venue, we are bringing the venue to them.  This means there is still a cost involved, and I am pleased to confirm that the Friends of Fountains have very kindly paid a portion of this, leaving £3.50 per child to pay via ParentPay.

We hope you will agree that this will be a fantastic event for the children to experience.
