Class 4 - First Aid, Cricket, Vikings and Auditions!
19 May 2023
We have had a very exciting week in Class 4 this week.
On Monday, we had a special visitor who came in to teach the children some First Aid skills. The children were shown how to perform CPR and then given the opportunity to practice these vital skills on some special First Aid dummies.
On Tuesday, Class 4 went to North Stainley Cricket Club to take part in a cricket festival. The children had a fantastic day and am I really proud of how they represented our school.
On Wednesday, we had a whole day delving into our history topic further. We borrowed a box of artefacts from The Jorvik Viking Centre and the children considered the importance of archaeology. They looked at lots of different artefacts and explored what they could tell us about life in Viking Jorvik.
Towards the end of this week, the children all auditioned for the KS2 production of The Wizard of Oz. All children have now been provided with their role and a script. We have also started practicing some of the songs.
Have a lovely weekend Class 4.
See you on Monday.
