A week of new activities!
10 Jun 2021
We have had a wonderful first week back in Class 4. I have been really impressed with how well the children have adapted to being back in the classroom, their learning behaviours and the excellent work they have produced.
It it is our turn to do Forest Schools this half term, which we were all really happy about. The work we are doing this half term is linked in to our science work on forces. Here are a few photos of what the children got up to this week:
On Thursday, we started our half term of lessons on the ukulele. All of the children had a go at playing their own ukulele and will develop their skills as the weeks progress. Look at the concentration on their faces!
Today was the deadline for our project homework. Over the last 7 weeks, the children have been working on a project at home that is based on an aspect of the Anglo Saxons or the Vikings. They could choose to create a PowerPoint, a book, a model, a combination of a few or something completely different; it was up to them. This morning, when they arrived in school, I was overwhelmed by the quality of what the children have produced. They have clearly spent a lot of time researching and working on them. Thank you to all the parents who have provided a great deal of support to this task.
Here is a peek of a few, but I will share them all over the next few weeks.
