TUE:
Research and choose a picture of a water goddess. Create a word bank of description to help you tomorrow when you will be writing about the water goddess and Chulak's encounter! 

Think about -

Actions - how might they move and speak. 
Appearance - describe all the details of her appearance - her hair, eyes, dress, colour, size, shape. Remember we can use similies to compare!
Fronted Adverbials that describe where, when and how
Sounds - what sounds might the Goddess make? What sounds might be created by her movements?

WED:

USe your word bank from yesterday to describe your Goddess. Imagine Chulak is asking her for some water to help protect his friend Lila. What does she look like? How does Chulak respond?

THURS:

Editing! Read your work aloud. Check for spellings, see how many fronted adverbials have you used? Can you tell me more about where, when or how it has all been happening?

Reading Comprehension - Write a book review of a book you have read at home.

Research the question: How do Hindus pray? 

Create a poster that describes and explains the key elements of Hindu worship. We learnt about this last year during our World religion focus on Hinduism so you will have lots of knowledge already!
