Create an accrostic poem about fireworks. Before starting make a word bank like the one we created in school to help you before starting to write your poem.
WED:
Re read your poem aloud and edit any punctuation marks you may have missed that made it hard to read.
Now edit and improve your poem using the
Success Criteria below to see which poetic devices you have used:

Alliteration
Syllabic pattern
Rhyme
Onomatopeaia
Simile
Write a new and improved edited version of your poem - checking all spellings and ensuring you have used at least 3 of the poetic devices at least once!
THURS:
Finally write a final copy in your best handwriting and illustrate it ready for display.
