Fountains Rounders Afternoon

On Thursday afternoon we had our annual rounders tournament. The school sports crew set up two rounders pitches on the school field and we got into our colour teams.
After a reminder of the rules of the game we were ready to play. We all showed great sportsmanship by helping and encouraging each other and using good communication skills when we were fielding. Everyone tried their best playing for their team and had lots of fun too!
Each team played three games and the scores were very close. At the end of the afternoon we added up all of the rounders scored for each team and here are the results:
RED - 13.5 rounders
YELLOW - 14.5 rounders
GREEN - 17.5 rounders
BLUE - 18 rounders
