Christmas fun in class one

07 Dec 2022

This week, we have been very busy getting ready for our Nativity Play. We have been rehearsing everyday and are very excited to share it with you!

On Thursday, we had Christmas Jumper Day! The children had a lovely afternoon of making decorations, designing Christmas Jumpers and learning all about the charity Save the Children. The children particularly enjoyed making paper chain decorations, they were very long!!

On Friday, we enjoyed spending time at the Christmas fair (a huge thank you to the parents for organising this!). The children liked looking around the stalls and playing games.

We have spent some time in our areas this week with a focus on Christmas. The children have been busy wrapping presents, writing letters to Santa and getting creative. The children were excited to find ice in the water tray.
They also amazed us all by making a car that could move using the construction resources outside!
