Sports Relief 2020

16 Mar 2020

We had a brilliant day in school on Friday 13th March supporting Sports Relief.

The children all came to school dressed in their sporty clothes, ready and raring to go! We started the day with a whole school assembly which was led by the School Sports Crew. The boys did a great job informing the school about the ways in which people raise money and where that money goes.

During the afternoon, we all ran the sports relief mile. Class 1 and 4 went first with excellent encouragement from Class 2 and 3. Then we swapped over so it was Class 2 and 3's turn to run and Class 1 and 4 used their vocal chords to support. Following that, the School Sports Crew led some sporting activities for the other classes which were enjoyed by all.

We were incredibly proud of all the children for their excellent behaviour, and how much care and support they demonstarted towards each other. Hopefully, along with having a lot of fun, we've raised some money to help people less fortunate than us too.
