The Yorkshire Man website Describes Deer Shed as 'a festival with tons of incredible live music, comedy and art. And if you’re not familiar, you’re in for a treat – because this isn’t just any music festival.
Taking place annually at
Baldersby Park, Topcliffe in North Yorkshire, Deer Shed Festival has become a Yorkshire calendar staple, bringing some of the best talent to God’s Own Country. And this year’s line-up is no different. But it’s not just the music that makes Deer Shed so great. It’s the combination of incredible family-friendly activities available, too.
Created for all ages to enjoy, not just over 18s,
Deer Shed Festival brings the
whole family together for a unique experience – with plenty to do for young children, teens and adults – including slacklining, kayaking, a Nerf gun arena and even skateboarding lessons. It’s an action-packed festival, with none of those boring lulls between live entertainment and acts.
If that wasn’t all, Deer Shed also promotes connecting with
art and nature, with tons of ‘Wilderwild’ activities on offer, ranging from woodworking and flower garland workshops, to wild runs and pottery classes. Basically, there’s something for everyone to stay entertained this summer.
If things couldn’t get any better already, guests will also be able to enjoy literary and spoken word sets throughout the festival, cinema screenings suitable for all the family, yoga, wild swimming and a whole array of incredible street food (with plenty on offer to keep those tastebuds happy all weekend long!).'
