Pupil Voice Day
25 Nov 2022
On Wednesday, we held another one of our Pupil Voice days. They are always very popular with children and staff alike, and not just because we get to wear our t shirts!
The day began with the charity committee collecting in all of the children's contributions to go to the foodbank in Ripon. We were amazed by how much we collected! The Charity Committee did a great job in organising this event and educating us all about foodbanks. We are excited to deliver all this food next week.
After the Charity Committee had completed their Collective Worship, the children worked in their colour teams to complete a range of different activities to do with foodbanks.
Later on, we all had the opportunity to decorate and/or make Christmas decorations. The children really enjoyed this activity and worked well together in their groups.
During the day, all of our Pupil Voice Committees had the opportunity to have a meeting and plan their next activites or initiatives. Watch this space for our children's next ideas! Some are coming very soon!
Later on in the day, we enjoyed some shared reading. The children are all paired or grouped up, and the groups have a mixture of older and younger children in. It is so lovely to see them all sharing books together.
We even managed to squeeze in the daily mile as the weather was kind to us!
We very much look forward to our next Pupil Voice day.
