Comic Relief 2022
09 Mar 2022
** Just a reminder that it is Red Nose Day in School tomorrow - please wear red/ non- uniform in return for a £1 donation to Comic Relief. This can either be paid in cash OR on ParentPay. Thank you! **
Red noses still available too!
On Friday 18th March, it is Red Nose Day.
This year, the School Council have decided that we can come to school dressed in non-uniform or in red clothing. We are asking that the children support this charity by paying £1.00 each (cash) on that day to dress up. The money raised is spent by Comic Relief to help transform the lives of poor and vulnerable people, both at home and across the world’s poorest countries.
We have also decided to run a couple of competitions as well as sell red noses. The red noses will be sold for £1.50 and can be purchased with cash at the school office from today onwards. On the day, there will be a competition for who is wearing the most red as well as a mask colouring competition. There will be prizes for the winners!
Finally, in the lead up to Red Nose Day, we would like to invite children to make a poster with details of the day and some information on the work of the charity. These will be judged, with a winner announced on the day. We look forward to seeing what you can come up with.
Thank you
