Travelling abroad during October half term
12 Oct 2020
October half term holiday arrangements
The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) currently advises British nationals against all but essential international travel. Travel to some countries and territories is currently exempt. This advice is under constant review.
Should you choose to travel abroad during October half term, please check the government website for details of countries which require you/your family to self-isolate for 14 days. Please note this list of countries is ever-changing alongside the quarantine arrangements. We strongly advise against any travel that could disrupt learning by the need for students to isolate. In the unfortunate event that students must self-isolate following a trip abroad please inform us as soon as possible advising the following information:
- return date of trip,
- country visited,
- self-isolation dates.
Students self-isolating following a trip abroad will need to catch up with work.
It is imperative that everyone follows the government guidance for travelling abroad to ensure we keep the school community safe.
