Home to school transport

Update from North Yorkshire Integrated Passenger Transport:
We apologise for the lateness of this information, but hope you will understand the short timeframe we were working to in implementing these arrangements.
The school transport network which was in place prior to lockdown will be reinstated for the start of the Autumn term, with services running from the same places and to the same timetable as normal. Vehicles will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before each journey. Parents and pupils are asked to play their part in safety measures by making sure they wash or sanitise their hands before each journey and pupils aged 11 and over wear a face covering unless they have a valid reason for exemption. For more information on safety measures which will be in place on school transport, visit:

If your child’s pass has not yet arrived, you can still use the transport. As with every other year operators will carry children without a pass for the first two weeks of term.
