Welcome back!
We hope that you all had a super summer break.
It has been lovely to see the children back in school, looking smart and ready for the exciting learning opportunities planned for this half term. The staff have been working really hard on developing the school curriculum. More information about this can be found under the 'School Information' tab and then select 'Learning'. Our first theme this year is 'Time Travellers'. All the children in school will be looking at developing their knowledge of history. Details can be found on the class pages under the 'Curriculum' tab.
As some of you may be aware, there has been building work going on over the summer to improve the Class 2 cloakroom area and the toilet and main entrance. The builders were still putting the finishing touches to the school on Monday! I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all the staff who worked tirelessy to ensure that the school was ready for the children in such a short space of time.
Our new playground equipment has also been installed this week. The children are very excited about trying it out next week. We couldn’t have done this without everyone who was involved and supported the 10k this year and for the PTA who organized the purchase of the equipment. We are very grateful.
There is a PTA AGM meeting on 12
th September at 3:30pm. We welcome you all to attend even if you can’t commit to attending all the meetings, your contributions and ideas are welcome and I would like you to be part of our team helping to develop and improve our school. It will also give me the opportunity to share our school development priorities and discuss future projects.
There is a Welcome Meeting on Monday 9
th September at 3:30pm. I would like to share with you our school aims for the next academic year and also talk to you about what you can expect from school, our teachers and our revised curriculum. It will also give you an opportunity to see the building work which has been done, walk around the classrooms and talk to your teachers. If you are unable to attend then I will send home an information leaflet.
If you have any questions, ideas or concerns please don’t hesitate to get in contact. My aim is to divide my day between my two schools alternating mornings and afternoons each week. Alternatively you can email me directly:

I look forward to working with you all again this year.
