Home learning lessons for this week

If you are at home this week, I hope you're feeling ok and we look forward to having you back in school as soon as possible. 

Try to complete an English activity and a maths activity each day as well as doing half an hours reading each day. You could do more reading than that if you like! 

If you can manage one of the afternoon activities as well then that's great, but if you're not feeling well or you don't have the resources or time to do it, then please don't worry.

Geography

1. Please complete some research into the Tsunami that happened over the weekend in Tonga. It was caused by an underwater volcano eruption. 
You could use the information you find to create a non-chronological report or a newspaper report about it. 

2. See if you can find out where the following are and label on the below world map:

Equator
Northern Hemisphere
Southern Hemisphere
Arctic Circle
Antartic Circle
Tropics of Cancer 
Tropics of Capricorn

3. See if you can find out where most of the World's earthquakes and volcanoes occur. Where are they? What can you find out?
