This week in Class Three we have done some more work on fractions, this time looking at comparing and ordering fractions.

In English we learnt about Haiku poems, where they came from and what there key features are. We then began to plan our own poems. We had to carefully count out the syllables on each line to ensure they stuck to the 5-7-5 pattern of a Haiku. Once we were sure they did we neatly wrote up our poems and added illustrations.

Our afternoons this week have been filled with lots of Christmas fun. On Tuesday, we had carols in the hall with Mrs Roberts, on Wednesday we watched the fantastic KS1 nativity and on Thursday afternoon we had PE with Mr Whitford
