It has been another busy week in Class Three, alongside editing our biographies, finding out about forces in Science and reading 'Survivors in Guided Reading. We have been learning about fractions in Maths.

We looked at how to identify equivalent fractions, where they sit on numberlines and then we learnt how to convert mixed numbers to improper fractions and improper fractions to mixed numbers.

Friday is our Christmas Fair and the children in Class Three have been busy working in groups to come up with stall ideas. Once they had their idea they created a poster to advertise it, created a rules sheet and wrote a shopping list to show all the things they needed to buy or find. The children then had to create all the parts they needed for their stall.
