Phonics screening check meeting

Children in Year 1 throughout the country will all be taking part in a phonics screening check during the week commencing the 10th of June. Children in year 2 will also take the check if they did not achieve the required standard when in Year 1 or if they have not taken the test before.

On Thursday the 25th of April we will be hosting a meeting at school to discuss the phonics screening check with parents. We will provide information on how you can support your child at home and what the check entails.

The meeting will be in class one straight afterschool, we hope to see you there. For any parents who are unableto attend, information will be sent out afterwards.
