In Maths, year one and two have been learning about addition and subtraction. We have enjoyed using lots of resources to help us solve problems. The children worked together to solve some addition and subtraction questions using a variety of methods.

In PE, we have started a new unit of dance. The children have enjoyed exploring different movements linked with our theme of gardens. We danced out how we might plant a seed as well as how a bee might move around. Then some of us performed to the class.

Reception have enjoyed making playdough this week. They made one batch red and the other yellow then played with it. In their areas, they have been making dens for the pets, playing vets and running away from a scary witch!

On Monday, we enjoyed playing in the snow. We built snowmen and played lots of games before coming inside to enjoy one of Heidi's homemade biscuits.
