Christmas in Class 2
17 Dec 2020
We would like to invite you to watch our Nativity video. Now showing on the Fountains website! (Enrichment Page)
We thoroughly enjoyed taking on the roles to act the Nativity story, read by the children in KS2. We had fun dressing up, as well as thinking about locations around schools that would be suitable for each scene. Many thanks to Duncan’s parents for supplying the hay bales, which really helped us to imagine the settings for the shepherds and stable scenes. We hadn’t realised how many times we would have to film a scene to get it right! We hope you enjoy watching our acting, as much as we enjoyed making the video.
We’ve had a very busy final week of term! We finished our tests and assessments on Monday and then had lots of fun with all our Christmas activities.
Making Christmas cards and party hats:
We had a very noisy Christmas party! We were so excited when Mrs Mallinson told us that Santa had been and left some presents. Unfortunately, Santa wasn’t able to come inside to see us, as he was following the Covid safety rules.
We enjoyed playing with our presents from Santa.
There's been some very busy elves, working and playing outside in the Elves' Workshop. Some of them have been going out on Santa's sleigh .... some of them were even having a Christmas party in the Elves' pub!
We had a lovely performance from our keyboard players and Mrs Roberts. We enjoyed listening and singing along to a selection of Christmas tunes that they have been learning.

Well done to all the children for adapting to all the changes in school this term and for working so hard. Enjoy your time at home and have lots of fun!
Stay safe and I look forward to seeing you all next year.
Happy Christmas everyone!
