Class 2 - Model Making and Music Performances
23 Oct 2020
Over the past few weeks, we have learnt about the Anderson shelters that were used during World War 2. This week, we were very excited to design and create a model Anderson shelter. We’ve had lots of fun working together on our projects.
We began by thinking about what we wanted our models to look like and considering the resources and materials that we would need:
We worked together in groups to build the models:
After all that hard work, our models were completed:
We evaluated our models and thought about what had gone well and not so well, as well as improvements that could be made:
Music has been a highlight of our week. We enjoyed listening to performances from the children who have music lessons in school.
Ben and William H have guitar lessons with Mr Rudland-Simpson.

William D, Hattie and Olivia have piano lesson with Mrs Roberts.
It was lovely to hear the tunes that they have all been learning to play.
We also spent lots of time practising our Harvest song. We tried very hard to remember all the words!
Well done for working so hard during this half-term, Class Two. Have lots of fun during the holiday and enjoy a well- deserved rest!
