Class 2 - Celebration Gallery and Happy Easter!

03 Apr 2020

Well done…you’ve made it to the Easter Holidays!   What a strange few weeks we have had.
This week, you've done
more wonderful work and activities at home!
Well done everyone and a big thankyou to all your Mums and Dads for helping with your tasks.

Thank you for all your hard work and lovely messages over the past two weeks.

There will be no learning tasks next week!
We will be sharing some ideas for things you might like to do during the Easter holiday. Not work – just things to enjoy if you want to.

I hope you have a lovely time. Have lots of fun and I hope you get some Easter eggs!
I miss you all and look forward to hearing all your news after the holiday.

Love from Mrs Micklefield

Below are pictures of some of the things you've been doing this week:

Olivia's cat has been helping with her work!

Super reading work about 'Voices in the Park'
Some brilliant masks of the characters have been created!

It's been a busy week for those of you who live on a farm.
Its good to hear that you've been helping with lambing.

 Mmmmm - brilliant baking!
A great way to use your weighing and measuring skills.

Amazing adjectives work and maths calculations.

Hunting for shapes

 Finding out about recent news

Super spellings!

Enjoying drawing

Busy reading and writing at home!

Where did that front tooth go?!!

Some great work about your homes .

Some of you have made compasses and explored different directions around your home.

Oli tested his home made compass in an experiment.
He put the compass in a bowl of water, then watched to see if it pointed in the right direction.
You have worked hard on your letter writing skills.
I enjoyed reading the letters to Baby Bear on PurpleMash.

Lots of you have been busy writing messages and letters to other people.

Well done with finding out how to write your address.

Here are some of the pictures of your homes:

Happy Easter everyone!
