Due to the power cut in school today here are some activities that you might like to do today:
Phonics:
You can access the following websites to have a go at some phonic games and go on a sound hunt around your home to see what words you can find that have these sounds in.
BBC phonics have short clips to introduce the sounds and activities to practise. Have a look at some of the sounds you find tricky.

Maths:
This week in maths, we are going to be comparing numbers and using language of more, less and equal to.
Can you sort your toys into groups and then compare which group has more?
See if you can practise your careful counting.

Understanding the World:
This week we are travelling under the sea! Can you find out some interesting facts about creatures that live under the sea? Maybe you could make an underwater picture.
Remember to share what you do on Evidence me or bring in your work when we are back in school.
Our Charities Committee have asked for our help to create christmas cards to send to the residents of some of the care homes in Ripon. You could create a card with a Christmas picture and bring it into school to send.
